A note on pattern & coloration!

Sandfire dragons can take up to two years to fully develop their color & loose their patterns. In this time color can & does change! As babies the colors range around green, beige, orange & red. Oranges & reds tend to get stronger & brighter as they develop, Greens lighten over time & turn to yellow, Beige tends to develop into a light orange & mixtures of green & beige produce a golden color. The intensity of color, fading of pattern & time to fully develop can vary from dragon to dragon & also be affected by lighting & mood.
